Who Should Attend

Florida’s regulations regarding Clinical Hypnosis Certification Training for licensed professionals requires satisfactory completion of a 50 hour state approved course in order to use the designation of Hypnotherapist. Those who do not fall under the FL State Board of Health do not have to meet the FL State Board of Health’s requirements but are not able to use the designation Hypnotherapist. They may use Consulting Hypnotist or Hypnotist. They may not use psychological terminology, diagnose, or treat psychological disorders.

Professionals falling under the following categories will receive 75 CEU’s:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers
  • Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselors
  • Florida Board of Nursing Designates
  • Florida Board of Psychology Designates
  • Licensed Nutritionists
  • Licensed Dieticians

Those not eligible for CEU’s but who will be certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists and benefit from this training:

  • Mental Health Counselor Interns
  • Social worker Interns
  • Chiropractors
  • Physical Therapists
  • Massage Therapists
  • Dental Hygienists
  • Mental Health Students
  • Nursing Students
  • Those desiring to become a Hypnotist and join the helping profession!
